A Conversation with the Board: Real Answers from Real Board Members
Have you or your team ever asked the following questions, or similar ones?
*How can we recruit and retain board members who are passionate about our mission and bring valuable skills and connections?
*What role does the board play in shaping our organization's strategic direction and ensuring good governance practices?
*How can we foster effective communication and collaboration between the board and staff?
In the post-event surveys that follow each PCCF training event, you've frequently asked that we cover topics related to the vital role of Boards in nonprofit organizations, and we heard you.
In this two-hour session facilitated by Mary Anne Keyes, Economic and Community Development Agent with MSU Extension, you'll hear from four of Park County's most seasoned Board members on several topics. We've built in time for you to engage with our panelists, so come prepared to get answers to your questions and valuable insights from these dedicated leaders of our nonprofit sector.
BONUS! Immediately following the panel discussion, stick around for the Nonprofit Social Hour on the Verandah. Please take this opportunity to relax with your colleagues and chat with our panelists while enjoying some delicious nosh from Dreamboat Market. Soft drinks will be provided, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. Even if you can't attend the training, join us from 4:30 to 5:30 pm for a well-deserved break.
